LOMO fail.

If you read my old post on lomography, here I will be posting my takes with it. I know my shots are such fails 'cause I only used a cheap film roll. Having these lomo cameras, it's a must to buy those 36shots films that are 600-900php worth. I can't afford wasting my money on that. But I hope this wouldn't give you a bad impression on these lomo cams. Here they are!

I used Kodak ColorPlus Film, ISO 200.

Analog.

I captured some scenes of daily downtown Davao hours ago. I had the liberty of using Hipstamatic App from iPhone using different lenses, films and flashes.

I really love the feel of film photography. I'm going to explore on it some time soon :) Enjoy!

CAM-CORDING

Earlier, my cousin Cez let me borrow her (or rather Luke's) RCA Mini Camcorder. I was thinking of buying one for myself but I'm still having second thoughts about it.

RCA Camcorder
I went through the internet to check some of the latest camcorders; 2 brands got my attention. First one was The Flip Ultra HD video cam. I got attracted to it, not only cause it looked cute & colorful but it's also quite handy; then the price weren't on my range for it. The second one was the CAM4002 SNAPP® Mini Digital Camcorder from Coby; simple but I'm not sure about its quality though. I'm still deciding whether to purchase it or not. I don't even know which store has it. I might check at Kodak, Gaisano Mall Davao soon if they have Camcorders available :)

Camera Spur!

on the urge of photography these days, i wanna get to know and try different cameras on my own. I actually have one right now, Nikon D5000, have it for about 8months now. I had a lot of money sacrifices just to avail this one. Yet i bought this just for its style though i haven't really studied its features and now i can't even understand how to really use it.

Right now, I am actually thinking of selling it and I've already considered buying a new one but I'm still confused about it (below). If you are able to tell me which one's better, comments please. Thanks! :) [I'm also wondering what lens to buy for my Nikon, Help!]

Sony NEX5

I just like this one for its appearance,
though I still haven't checked its features and some reviews about it.
Think, think, think! :)

lomography

and so I got bored and decided to explore my 3-day old fisheye2 lomo camera. since i'm new to this, I admit that I have:
• mistakenly clicked the shutter release a number of times without removing the cover. (sucks for the waste of film)
• practicing some of the camera's functions and accidentally exposed the film.
• expecting the flash to go but forgot to put the battery in.

but I know that I'm still at the stage of learning and understanding it. along with study I did, I came to a page that had the "Golden Rules of Lomography" i just wanna share it to you guys.

GRL:
1. Take your lomo everywhere you go.
2. Shoot anytime-- day or night.
3. Lomo is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
4. Shoot from the hip.
5. Get close to the objects of your desire.
6. Don't think!
7. Be fast!
8. You don't have to know beforehand what you captured on film, even
9. afterwards.
10. Don't care about rules!

Grab one and try it yourself! :)
