Ugong Rock Adventure, Palawan

March 28, 2013 was intended for our Underground River tour, which had us travel for 2-3 hours from where we're staying. Along with our tour van were 3 other civilians, the tour guide and the driver.

We were informed of the brief history of Palawan and some of its City Rules and Regulations to live up while we're there. It was nearly 10:00am when the tour guide asked us if we wanted to stop over Ugong Rock Adventure before heading to Sabang Port for lunch and ride towards the Underground River.

We weren't expecting much out of Ugong Rock, we just thought it was only gonna be Rock Formations and some sight-seeings. But they proved us wrong. Click this for Information: Ugong Rock Adventure

Hard Caps and gloves ON.
(They were provided for the resource protection and the prevention of illnesses.)
Heart-shaped rock formation!

Tapping rocks to produce sounds.
(Ugong means roaring or echoing sound)
CLIMBING BEGINS! Nearly broke a sweat :)

All the walking, hiking and climbing covered almost an hour. Zipline was next in line, which will only take us seconds to get back to the start. The primary plan for this was only the siblings were gonna take this ride then our parents would have to go back to all those climbing and walking which may take another hour for us to wait for them. They decided to do the zipline instead para mapabilis ang balik and then off to Sabang Port. Funny thing was that my mom was really scared and she had the same position and facial expression the whole time! Haha! :))

Yes! I'm weird at poses! haha:))
Mom's shout: 'Aaaaaayyeeeeeehhhhhh!'

Over-all experience here was really one for the books! So, when you get the chance to visit Palawan, don't forget to try this Ugong Rock Adventure! :)

Cozy Stay.

I just wanted to share where we stayed on our family vacation this year (2013) in Palawan, Philippines. It was in Alta Homes Subdivision. We were accommodated by our cousins who lived there and I must say I was really delighted upon seeing their homes! So COZY and inviting! :) Our stay couldn't have been better!
They had this made and I just love the design. It's just perfect for Portrait displays!
Living Room
Room Lighting during noon.
Cousin Hal and Brother LJ.
Creeping light. A bit hot out that day!
I love these seats! Asian-aura! <3
I like the way the glass table reflects the surrounding trees and skies.

I'm just a fanatic of these kinds of materials. I don't have an idea where they originated and what kind of crafts these are. But it feels homey, like you're in the province. I want the same look for my own home soon! :)
